Before his current role as Director of M&A, Trevor Lunsford spent more than 4 years at District Capital Partners advising PE-backed Software companies across a spectrum of M&A mandates. In his current role, Trevor Lunsford oversees transaction execution, origination, deal management, and relationship building. His role has involved overseeing project initiatives, strategic planning, and running point on high-value deals and projects. He has raised debt and equity, managed investor and lender relationships, and overseen underwriting investments. Throughout his career, he has leveraged his experience across capital markets and private equity.

During his time at Ascend, Mr. Lunsford's helped spearhead the firm’s vertical SaaS practice expansion, as well as train and develop the associate and analyst teams. His work with the firm has been recognized by receiving the M&A Advisor’s “Emerging Leaders” Award.

Mr. Lunsford attended Georgia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance and a master’s degree in finance. His personal interests include fitness activities, such as Barry’s Bootcamp, hiking, and fly-fishing. He is also interested in health-hacking, international travel, F1, and his Ducati.
